The highest level of certification available from ISA is the ISA Board Certified Master Arborist® credential. This prestigious designation is reserved for ISA Certified Arborists® who have achieved the pinnacle of their profession. To earn this credential, candidates must pass a rigorous scenario-based exam and adhere to a Code of Ethics that ensures the quality of their work.
Currently, less than two percent of all ISA Certified Arborists® hold this certification, highlighting its exclusive nature. To qualify for the exam, individuals must be in good standing as an ISA Certified Arborist and possess a significant amount of measurable experience, formal education, related credentials, and professional experience.
